Not that you ever need an excuse for a cocktail, but as far as occasions come – this is a pretty good one to let your hair down. Our twist on a classic cosmopolitan will help you kickstart the new year as you mean to go on; with a little bit of a pop and a fizz.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

• 45ml vodka
• 15ml Grand Marnier
• 15ml cranberry juice
• 15ml freshly squeezed lime juice
• 5ml agave
• ice
• 50ml chilled prosecco
• Orange slice to garnish

Method: 

1. Mix the vodka, Grand Marnier, cranberry juice, lime and agave in a jug with the ice and stir until cold (or shake in a cocktail shaker) – this is your cosmopolitan mix
2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, top up with prosecco and garnish with an orange slice
   Gousto tip – you can make a big batch of the cosmopolitan mix, without the ice and store it in the fridge until ready to serve.  Then just measure out 95ml per glass and top with prosecco.
