Hot Cross Bun Martini
Capture the flavours and aromas of your favourite Hot Cross Bun with this Easter-inspired tipple. With just a little bit of quick kitchen prep (and some serious mixological wizardry) you’ll have a gorgeously aromatic vodka to use as the base for your martini. Best served with your feet up.
Hot Cross Bun Martini

Ingredients
- 45g butter
- 250ml vodka
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- Sultana-infused Vermouth
- 25g sultanas
- 200ml vermouth
- 50ml vodka
- 15ml vermouth
- 10ml cointreau
- Orange garnish
Method
Step 1 In a small saucepan, cook your butter on medium heat until it foams, then continue cooking until the butter starts to brown. Turn off the heat and add the spices. Leave the butter to cool then pour into a jar with the vodka, put the jar in the fridge for 24 hours.
Step 2 Pour the vermouth over the sultanas and leave to marinate for 24 hours.
Step 3 To make your cocktail, mix the alcohol in a cocktail shaker with lots of ice and serve iced in a martini glass with orange for garnish.
