Hot Cross Bun Grilled Cheese

Hot Cross Bun Grilled Cheese

Ingredients
- 40g comte
- 40g gouda
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 spring onions
- 2 Hot Cross Buns
Method
Step 1 Grate your cheese, then finely slice your spring onions before mixing both together in a bowl.
Step 2 Slice the hot cross buns in half, load them with your cheese and onion mixture, then press the top firmly down.
Step 3 Pop your sandwiches in a cold pan, then turn the heat to medium-low. Wait till the cheese has started to melt before flipping as it will be easier. Use a. small pan (or a burger weight) to press your hot cross buns down in the pan.
Step 4 Cook your sandwiches on both sides until brown and the cheese is fully melted – about 10 to 15 minutes.
