British Booze Meets The Hedgerow Mojito
With lazy summer days fading into the shade of autumn, I wave goodbye to the Pimm’s with a tear in my eye. What will I do to get that refreshing boozy fix now?
As I gazed deep in thought through my window, I couldn’t help but notice the glistening blackberries nestled in my hedgerow. Maybe I could create an even tastier tipple, full of ingredients from my own garden?
I needed to find out. So I grabbed my foraging gear and went out to collect as many berries as I could get my hands on. A sprig of mint from my herb collection, a splash of Sipsmith Gin, and I was ready to go.
Enter: the Hedgerow Mojito.
Tart, fizzy and refreshingly minty, this forager’s dream drink mixes seasonal British blackberries with a dash of zesty mojito flavour from the calles of Mexico.
No need for rum, just dig out the gin from the back of your cupboard. Leftover limes from your Gousto recipes? Rescue your citrus from the compost and add it to the party.
It’s a limesaver.
