It’s getting colder by the day, and while some may choose to dwell on the dark mornings and thunderstorms, I’m focusing on the positives…it’s finally time to get my slow cooker out of the cupboard and serve up delicious autumn warmers.
If you haven’t got a slow cooker, what are you doing? But also, don’t worry, you can actually bubble these recipes in your oven. Inspired by hearty moussaka, this Greek lamb stew only takes 5 minutes to prep so you can let the slow cooker do the hard work. Finish off with crumbled feta and fresh mint for next-level flavour.

This peppery chicken dal is prepped in no time. Just fry your chicken, lentils and spices then pop it into the slow cooker to bubble away and serve with warm naan. Dal-icious!
